If you’re a lover of donuts and if you’re ever in South Florida, there is ONE place you MUST visit. It’s called MOJO DONUTS and it’s a little southwest of Fort Lauderdale. Heaven on earth for all donut lovers alike, they open their doors at 6AM and close as soon as they run out of fresh baked goodness.
With a variety of cavity giving donuts ripe for the picking, it’s a little overwhelming at first. The owner, Jeff, is a kind soul who really has a passion for shedding new light on donuts, whipping up something mind-blowing and new almost every visit.
Now, I am not the kind of person that enjoys something overly sweet so here are my two favorite donuts from Mojo’s –
The Mojo Monkey – Glazed Doughnut topped with Chocolate Ganache, Sea Salt and Banana.
Holy Cannoli – Glazed Doughnut FILLED with Cannoli Cream containing chocolate chips, topped with Chocolate Ganache and Crushed Graham Cracker.
Other Donuts found at Mojo’s …
Maple Bacon – Doughnut with Maple Glaze over it, topped with crispy bits of bacon.
Creme Brulee Doughnut – Doughnut stuffed with Creme Brulee Filling, with a hardened sugar crust glazed over the outside JUST LIKE CREME BRULEE!
Some Donut with Chocolate Glaze and Crispy Potato Sticks Sprinkled on top….
The list goes on and on…Need we say more?
Thank You Ana Maria Reyes of VIP Television for this great interview of what to expect when visiting MOJO Donuts!
